  The former governor of Lagos State, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been seen being interviewed live at the statehouse, Marina, today, Saturday, 24 October 2020.  The leader of All Progress Congress, APC, visited the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, around 5 pm with his escorts.  He debunked the rumor that he ran to France during the End Sars protesting. He added that social media have been the fake news carrier. "I didn't go anywhere, I am a Lagosian. I entered Lagos through my head not my legs.   The peaceful protest in Lagos State with the hashtag EndSars has turned bloody, especially in Ajah-Ado road, Okera-Nla axis, where 5 people have allegedly killed by the hoodlums within the neighborhood.  Our reporter reported that 4 lifeless bodies were found on the road and some mayhem has been unleashed by unidentified thugs.  Shops and offices in that area have been closed and citizens have departed roads and streets for their various homes for safety as no armed forces could found around.   The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, has declared openly the abolishment of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS). He made the declaration around 1.30 pm at the Force Headquarters in Abuja. He said the police unit is dissolved across all formations, the 36 state commands, and the Federal Capital Territory.  He said officers and men currently serving in the unit are to be redeployed with immediate effect.  Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, received Nigerian female football star, Asisat Oshoala, in the statehouse.  The female striker who had paid homage to the Oba Elegushi of Ikate Land some days ago also took her courtesy visit to the governor of the state where she had a good time with the governor as they both debated the way forward for the state in sports activities. The football star who is an indigenous person from Ikorodu discussed her program with the governor in establishing a foundation where the less privileged is assisted.   The governor has pledged to support her according to what the governor tweeted: "Today, Asisat Oshoala paid me a courtesy visit. She is a worthy ambassador of Lagos from Ikorodu and we are proud of her.   The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has warned observers,  blogs owners, especially the partisan ones, to stop uploading fake reports, emphasizing that official reports of the Edo election are still under the coalition.  The INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, cautioned all partisans who have been uploading one result or the other to desist from these barbarous acts, adding that it is not democratically right and it could affect our democracy negatively.  "The results from polling units in each local government are still in coalition centers, still expecting them at the central coalition center where the official announcement will be made," he said, "all Nigerians, especially the Edolites, should be expecting transparency as it will be televised live on national television."
