 Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, received Nigerian female football star, Asisat Oshoala, in the statehouse.  The female striker who had paid homage to the Oba Elegushi of Ikate Land some days ago also took her courtesy visit to the governor of the state where she had a good time with the governor as they both debated the way forward for the state in sports activities. The football star who is an indigenous person from Ikorodu discussed her program with the governor in establishing a foundation where the less privileged is assisted.   The governor has pledged to support her according to what the governor tweeted: "Today, Asisat Oshoala paid me a courtesy visit. She is a worthy ambassador of Lagos from Ikorodu and we are proud of her.   The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has warned observers,  blogs owners, especially the partisan ones, to stop uploading fake reports, emphasizing that official reports of the Edo election are still under the coalition.  The INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, cautioned all partisans who have been uploading one result or the other to desist from these barbarous acts, adding that it is not democratically right and it could affect our democracy negatively.  "The results from polling units in each local government are still in coalition centers, still expecting them at the central coalition center where the official announcement will be made," he said, "all Nigerians, especially the Edolites, should be expecting transparency as it will be televised live on national television."

 The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has advised the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to stop parading itself as a medical organization, adding that it is only a medical body that can stop the government from reopening of schools.  NANS stated that ASUU was organized to regulate the proper running of tertiary institutions in the country not to intervene in other affairs.  The National Association of Nigerian Students added that ASUU should stop collecting salary if truly its insinuation that it is not pleasing to reopen schools at the moment as the students felt the lecturers are lazy to understand that reopening of schools is better than other sectors with lockdown relaxation.   Lagos based popular musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has visited Akima Hotel in the Oshodi neighborhood of Lagos. The hotel is owned by the chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo.  Davido who visited the hotel alongside his crew was highly welcome by the management of the hotel and the and other staff.
