By Ibrahim Kegbegbe

Leader of All Nigeria Youths Reorietation Initiatives, (ANYRI), Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has expressed his views on COVID-19 as he said that the coronavirus pandemic has come like other diseases that had been in existence before its advent, adding that the world will collapse if leaders of all countries do not accept the pandemic as part of their lives.

While elucidating his views on COVID-19, Mr. Ajadi told the journalists that countries of the world have been trying to curtail the spreading of the disease by providing some tactical measures; rules and regulations, which part of them: are washing of hands with soap under running tap water; creating social distancing, at least 2 meters from one another; wearing of facemask when leaving home; a no handshake and hugging of each other; not touching of one's face and being careful of not touching any layers which an infected patient of COVID-19 has touched.

He, however, stated that the law of restriction of citizens of one country to another country imposed by each country's government will not yield good fruits, rather it will lead to international economic crashes and ineffective international relations among the countries of the world. The

Regards to the aforementioned disadvantages of the restriction of citizens of a country to another country, he added that Nigeria economy will crash as COVID-19 cases have been manipulated by the state and federal government, adding that this manipulation of the pandemic cases may affect the sovereign wealth of the country in the nearest future. "Foreign investors will stop coming to the country to invest in fear of being affected by the pandemic disease. "

Moreover, most of the other countries may give ban or restriction of Nigerians to come in into their countries when the World Health Organization (WHO) finally pronounce the world free of Coronavirus pandemic as a result of the high rate of contagious patients in Nigeria before the WHO pronouncement," he said.

"Well, I appreciate all the steps the Federal Government of Nigeria has taken to make sure that the Virus is tackled. The government should put the measure to stop anything that could damage the economy of Nigeria.

Corona Virus has no room to stay in Nigeria because there are many Viruses that Nigerians have been experiencing like malaria, Ebola, HIV which are also deadly disease but the fear of Coronavirus has caused damages to the economic development of many countries which can not be fixed back in the next ten years," he said.
