The leader of the ANYRI, who has been known for his perpetual creation of wealth source for members and nonmembers of the organization, told our reporter yesterday Monday, 6th of July, 2020 while unveiling the completed project to members of the press, that he had decided to empower the hotelier with such huge amount as he believed that the initiative will create job opportunities for the youths and also add to the economic development of Lagos State.
Ajadi said financial empowerment was given to the beneficiary to revive back the hotel which had been closed down before the advent of COVID-19 as a result of unanticipated economic circumstances, adding that the aim of the financial assistance was to bring back the beneficiary to a self-reliant entrepreneur economically.
"Mr. Emmanuel Omofouman is a very loyal member of ANYRI who has been working tirelessly for the growth of the organization that is one of the reasons his plea to be empowered was not rejected by me," he said.
He said, "I am pleased that another person has joined the long list of the names of those who have benefited huge palliative care through being members of the ANYRI besides the non-members who have always been main beneficiaries of any organized empowerment by the organization."
While responding to the interview made by the media representatives, Mr. Omofouman told our reporter that he would ever be grateful to Almighty God for using Mr. Ajadi as his economic redeemer, adding that reviving dead business with the sum of 2Million Naira at this period of economic difficulties is worth talking to other people's notice.
He added that the hotel had been named 'Cribs Lodge and Bar' before he decided to change its name alongside the renovation as the 'Irenian Hotel' as he thought the new looks of the structure should also take a new name.
He said, "Mr. Ajadi has not only empowered him with this given opportunity but many Nigerians, especially the youths who have been looking for jobs in hotels as the initiative will create employment for some of them and this will reduce criminality in the society as well.
"I thank Mr. Olufemi Ajadi for his uncommon positive gestures in my life. I am happy that I have returned to the business which I understand most and I pray that the COVID-19 should be wiped out within a short period of time for the business to strive officially," he said.
