SPORTS: MFM Football Club Starts Virtual Training Ahead 2020/21 Season

Preparation for 2020/21 Nigeria Football League has made the Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM) Football Club of Lagos start training amid COVID-19.

Coach of the club, Tony Bolus, described the new idea as a way forward to keep the players focused and display the versatility of the technical crew.

Bolus added that the league has been scheduled to kick off in September, reiterating that virtual training is the only alternative for physical training at this moment of suspension of sporting activities nationwide.

“It is dangerous not to keep the players mentally busy during this lockdown. Although the technical lessons are not enough, it is important that we keep the players focused so and in top form for the task ahead,” he said. (Guardian NG)
